Coming Soon! Three New Prepper Books

Prepper Press is set to release three new prepper books. All three of these books will be made available on July 15, 2019. Shelby Gallagher’s A Great State trilogy will come to a close with her third and final book The Rescue. Steve Markwith’s Survival Guns series will come to a close with his sixth and final book Handguns: A Buyer’s and Shooter’s Guide. We are also adding a new author to our tribe – Aden Tate. His new book, The Faithful Prepper, will strike a chord with Christians who wonder how scripture and prepping coincide and who have struggled with many of the “what if” questions they could face post-collapse.

A Great State: The Rescue

The Rescue

In the final book of Shelby Gallagher‘s A Great State trilogy, Julie and Ned embark on their perilous journey from Colorado to Pierce Point, Washington where Julie will rescue – and adopt – baby Addison. Julie hopes to save her from the danger that is only growing more extreme as society continues to collapse and Addison can no longer be safely cared for by her biological parents.

Meanwhile, unrest in Oregon continues to intensify and violence in the city becomes deadly as cultures clash and lawlessness begins to rule. Strange murders are happening regularly and the guilty parties will go to great lengths in order to preserve their freedoms.

The Rescue chillingly shows the lengths people will go to so they can survive and thrive in times of chaos and uncertainty. Will Julie and Ned survive the mission through the mountains so they can save an innocent life and help usher in a new generation of self-reliant survivors? What will become of Julie’s ex-husband once he surrenders his parental rights? Will Julie’s incompetent brother make it through the collapse on his own? Will the violence that is overtaking Oregon make its way to the Great States?

Handguns: A Buyer’s and Shooter’s Guide

Handguns: A Buyer’s and Shooter’s Guide is Steve Markwith’s sixth and final firearms book in the Survival Guns series. Steve applies his conversational writing style with 25+ years as a full-time firearms instructor to guide the reader through the selection, function, and use of handguns in this whopping 418-page book full of tips and pictures.

The information on handguns contained within this guide is detailed, covering far more than just the firearm itself, leaving the reader confident in his/her plan to learn the about handguns in a reasoned, logical way. The book contains information suitable for novices and experts. Shooters of all types and experience will find something of value in this guide. Steve uses eight guidelines for handgun selection:

  1. It must be in widespread use
  2. Have a reputation for dependability
  3. Be easy to operate
  4. Have readily available parts
  5. Have readily available ammunition
  6. Be easy to maintain
  7. Be able to accommodate practical accessories
  8. Represent a good value

Steve takes the reader through action types, ammunition, sighting systems, handgun choices, accessories, range work, cleaning, and maintenance. Handguns: A Buyer’s and Shooter’s Guide could be the only handgun book you will ever need.

The Faithful Prepper: A Christian’s Perspective on Prepping

How does prepping mesh with the Christian faith? Is prepping actually a sign of a lack of faith in God? The Faithful Prepper by Aden Tate seeks to not only answer such questions, but also takes a look at a number of other post-disaster scenarios and some of the things a Christian will have to think about in each of them. Such scenarios include:

  • How do you incorporate charity into post-disaster life without compromising your family’s safety?
  • How do you live with others in confined circumstances in a very dangerous environment?
  • What is the role of the church post-disaster, if any?
  • Who do you let stay at your retreat post-disaster, and who do you turn away?
  • How do you live a prepared lifestyle, yet not one dominated by fear?
  • When bad stuff happens post-disaster, how do you cope?
  • How do you care for those who have special needs post-disaster?
  • And much more…

Aden Tate is a Christian writer who lives in The Beautiful South.
