HOLDING THEIR OWN VI: BISHOP’S SONG
Bishop’s Song continues the adventures of Bishop and Terri as the communities of the Alliance strive to improve the quality of life for all. But the obstacles are many.
War looms on the horizon as treachery threatens to destroy everything they’ve worked so hard to build. Bishop must survive the most challenging mission of his life, navigating a post-apocalyptic world that threatens danger at every step, testing his will beyond anything he’s ever imagined.
"Starting with a battle in Fort Bliss for 300 tons of supplies, Bishop is on his toes once again! An incredible victory for this team of warriors. Complications arise when the Alliance of West Texas decides to help a fellow member go to Tennessee and bring his family back. Lots of logistics in this part... And, the Rangers in the State Park in Arkansas play an important role.
The birth of Bishop and Terri's child was such a poignant addition to this story... Of course, as a new Dad, Bishop's thoughts continue to flow to his wife and newly born son. I also thought the bantering between Hugh, Bishop and Deke was priceless. Especially, the mooning of the plane! LOL!
All in all, an excellent read with the addition of the Circus in Millington, TN, and the trickery of the US government to implicate Bishop. A superb ending which leaves the readers with a lot of questions to be answered in the next novel. I am anxiously awaiting the release in early 2014 of the next one.
Most highly recommended."
